Optimising care for patients with NETs is a journey.  Don't panic - it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. There are starts and stops, curves and turns, and roadblocks along the way. Despite the challenges of the journey, there are always CHOICES.

meetings

The group meets about once a month on the third Saturday from 10 am - noon at the San Rafael Parish Community Center in Rancho Bernardo; light refreshments are offered.  A typical meeting format begins with a presentation (NET specialist) on a selected topic followed by an open forum. New members are welcomed and given an opportunity to share their journey with the group.  All members may seek insights for managing their disease, particularly as treatments or new challenges arise.

Mentoring Program

We offer the opportunity for private communications between patients/caregivers with a member of our support group. This can be a valuable opportunity, especially for newly diagnosed patients, to discuss their concerns with someone with a similar diagnosis. To request a mentor, please click here.

HIstory

The support group was founded by Janice Naritomi-Hart and the current board is committed to continuing her legacy.  Jan's Celebration of Life can be viewed here. Jan's Celebration of Life slideshow can be viewed here.
